REACH scholarships-College Scholarships
This scholarship is for college-bound high school students in Detroit, Michigan to help bridge the cost gap of attending college. High school graduating seniors who have been accepted to college can apply for the REACH scholarship through the Lawrence C. Patrick Jr. Foundation. This scholarship is a one-time gift in the amount $500.
RISE mini grants-Capacity Building Grants
The RISE mini-grant is a grant program available for local education-based community-based organizations in Detroit, Michigan. Apply programs should focus on youth development, academic support or reinforcement, or education. LCP Jr. Foundation seeks to fund data-driven programs with a strong history of success. Program activities can be administered across school systems and can include charter school partnerships. Preference is given to projects which devote at least 70% of their programming to communities of color. In high school grades, the Foundation focuses on organizations that take innovative approaches to prepare underserved students for success in college acceptance and completion processes.

The Foundation will fund organizations and non-profit educational programming to students in Detroit, Michigan. The applying non-profit organization need not be physically headquartered within city limits to qualify for funding. Organizations providing programs outside of these cities may apply for a grant if invited by a member of the Foundation’s Board of Directors or by the Executive Director.
